Property Land & Housing

JHC has a wide portfolio of property and land. Some property is owned for commercial use such as Sawston Nursery and Lenten House retail units, thus produces part of our income.

Lenten House (the old Unwins/Parish Council offices) on the High Street in Sawston is now completed.

Other properties form part of our charitable ethos, this includes eighteen almshouses in Sawston. When one of our houses becomes available we advertise around the village with posters. Any Sawston resident or someone with a strong connection to the village can apply. We do not operate a waiting list.
