There is now an electronic advice hub at the Medical Centre which can help you access advice on many topics.  It is sponsored by Cambridge CAB.  

  Community Orchard planting day

Sunday January 15th saw over 20 men, women and children planting trees for our new orchard.  In total 17 fruit trees were planted.  

The next stage will be sowing some wildflower seeds during March, so keep an eye out for further details.  

Volunteers are needed to help water the trees on a weekly basis so if you are interested, please contact Jill Hayden.

 Sawston Savers is a branch of Rainbow Anglia Credit Union.  It operates from OWL cafe at the Free Church on Sawston High Street every Thursday from 2-4pm. Anyone can join and benefit from the following services:

Free life insurance

Support to pay rent to private landlords

After demonstrating ability to save for 13 weeks members are able to apply for a loan at reasonable rates of interest.
