JHC Support Service

Advice is available for benefits ( including disabilities ), housing, homelessness and small debts.

Jan and Sarva are our Support Workers and they can see clients for appointments at the office and sometimes for home visits. They can also act as advocates with other agencies.

We work closely with many other organisations including CAB, the Medical Centre, South Camb's District Council, Schools, the Children's Centre and the Children's Locality team. With your permission we may recommend a referral.

We can give grants for essential items ( Sawston clients only ). We also give emotional support and can be a friendly face to talk to if there are family problems.

The Service is totally free of charge and confidentiality is assured.
