Our Trustees are passionate about supporting children to help give them the best chances in life. We have worked with a range of partners such as the Ormiston Trust, local authority children’s services and Sawston’s schools to help achieve this.

Working with children and young people

In the late 1990s John Marven retired as Principal of Sawston Village College and joined the JHC Board of Trustees, bringing with him a wealth of educational vision and skills.

We encourage local retired people to make use of our advice and support services. They may have a general concern, an issue that needs a specific solution or help in navigating the latest legislation on pension entitlements.

Working with JHC is a huge privilege for Romsey Mill. The charity is professional, focused and incredibly people-centred which makes for a very effective partnership for our work with young people in Sawston.
